I'm looking for a stainless steel mirror and convex mirror glass.
I have a 85 blazer k5 with a leftside mirror that's rusty and a rightside stainless one but with a flat mirror glass, so I can't see enough in it.
I was looking at the dorman mirror but it comes with flat glass and some sellers say it has a stainless housing and others say plastic.. I'm confused.
I'm from the Netherlands so returning stuf back if it's bad is a bit expensive.
So with which brand do you guys have good experience and would you recommend?
Thanks

I glued a convex piece to the passenger side mirror. Thinking about doing it with the driver side too. Pre-cut, perfect shape.

Bought in store from Orielly’s . Was shocked to see it. Just in case you get some nice new ones that aren’t convex

If you do use adhesive just make sure you use one that is specifically designed for mirrors. If you use something like silicone the acid in it will bleed through the mirror coating and you’ll be able to see where the adhesive was placed. Don’t ask how I know.

I don't know if anything is as sure-fire as OEM. I like the "objects are closer than they appear" much better than a stick-on fish-eye. You might hit up the "Parts Wanted" section and have somebody pull one from their stash. The question is whether or not they are willing to deal with the customs side.
