stainless steel tie rod ends...

I haven't really heard of common failures on the 88-98 trucks. And really, its just a sleeve, you could easily build one to work on yours if you are having issues with it.
 
I thought steering was one of the main weak links in ifs. The half shafts being next. No?
 
on 99-up trucks yes thay use a rack/pinion style tie rod end for the inner and thay bend so easy . i cant rember how many i have replaced.

but its still a steering box.
