Stall Converter for 6.2 Diesel with 700r4?

Which stall converter would I need for a 700r4 transmission with a 6.2 Diesel? I was told a 1800 stall would be good, but it really seems to be too high for a diesel.
Is anyone a converter GURU?

Buy a stock converter and don't worry about stall...

IIRC stock stall is around 1400 or so. I think 1200-1600 would be fine.
