stall speed

So what does a higher stall speed do for a 4x4 other than waste gas? /forums/images/graemlins/ears.gif
 
heats up the tranny and gets you stuck. It has it's stengths in other areas though. I believe they are good for an area where horsepower, not torque is needed....

Pulls you out of the hole harder in a mud race. Also helps to keep you from bogging out in a mud bog. I run a 2400 stall. Works real bad for rocks and snow though. I'm thinking of putting a stock one back in for Moab.
