my 90 suburban with a 350 tbi\700r4 will stall if left idleing for more then 10 minutes when the throttle is first applyed, after restarting it will run fine, any clues?
TBI, so air/fuel should be fine, as should timing as long as base timing is properly set.
Check engine light? You can read codes if so.
I'd start by checking vac lines, etc. Plug off the vac line going from the tbi to your EGR solenoid (passenger side of throttle body on a 45 degree bracket) to eliminiate a bad EGR solenoid. Just had a bad stumbling problem with my burb when this solenoid would stick open. Rarely stalled, but i could force it to stall with sudden throttle blips.
