I have a 1986 K5 with new gm crate engine with edelbrock electric choke carb. Came complete and was installed this spring by dealership. Ran and idles fine in warmer weather (starts high idle then idles down). Now that it is cold out it starts right up just fine one or two pumps of the pedel and starts perfectly. Idles high for a bit then idles down. The issue is when i put it into gear (automatic trans) it sputters and dies. Cant find any vacume leaks and seems to be getting plenty of fuel. Let it run for about 25 mins and it no longer dies when put in gear. What should I check for next? Havent had a carburated engine before in winter so not sure what to expect. Any thoughts or tips would be great. Thanks
