Stanadyne FM100 fuel filter kits

Rob, save me one please. I want to order one as soon as i get my move done in April.

Glad I just found this after posting a thread about aftermarket kits, bunch of random searching came up with Stanadyne so I CK5 searched it. :waytogo:

So are these all in ones, fuel water/filter? I saw some with the filter body, and the bowl.

What I am selling is the header and 6 filters(yes they block water too) for $67.50 shipped.

The bowl that attaches to the bottom of the filter is available at any Stanadyne authorized distributor and gets moved from filter to filter, when you do a filter change. I like the bowls, as you can clearly see when there is water collected and it is easy to drain it off.

I've got two diesel trucks....so how much for two filter heads and six filters to 76023? Please.

Ya I'ma jump on one of these. I'll PM you pertinents and such.

Oh one question, in the photo, I wanna mount it exactly as that is. Where did the mounts come from?

That pic is from a buddy that installed it in his truck. I do not know what he used for the mounts, sorry.

I have plenty. Pm your addy and I'll box some up and get a shipping quote.

Will do. It's worth clarifying first-the advertized item is one filter header and 6 filter cartridges (right?). How large a box does it take to fit 3 filter headers and 18 cartridges? (That seems like a whole pile of filters, even with 3 trucks... :eek1:)

Yes, I still have some. I was out of town till Sunday and had a busy week so far. PM replied to, sorry for the wait.

I'll put a plug in for ya. I installed this kit in my Suburban a few months ago. The filter assembly bolted right in place of my OEM filter assembly. I even reused the mounting bracket without any modifications (though one of the bolts was snug, IIRC). I purchased 2 hose adapters, 2 piping plugs, and a 90* street elbow from the hardware store and plumbed it right into the existing hoses. I ended up not using the elbow because it interfered with the filter (briefly thought about getting a longer nipple, but that would have encroached upon the transmission dipstick tube. As it is, I attached the factory pre-bent hose directly to the adapter. It looks kinda funny (as it's bent wrong for the new application), but everything works well. Total installation time was no more than 1/2 an hour. I would recommend either replacing the pre-bent hose section or using a nicer approach angle (like I tried to do with the elbow). Not sure yet if I'm gonna redo that or not.

Or you could get a stick shift and forget about dealing with the dipstick tube. :D
