i am using 3/4 inch grade 8 bolts to mount the shocks. I think this will be very stout, i'm going to finish the project in the morning and i'll post the final pictures then.

Looks good Branndon, I like your shop too:grin:
You must have a lot of patients! I can never get my metal that clean! Did yu just use a grinder with a grinding wheel/

i used this flap disc thing, but it wasnt a normal cheepie one, it was a good one that was sold individualy, not in a 3 pack or anything, it just eats the rust off the metal!

I know that chop saw :)

What's the metal flip by the handle say, something like "DO NOT PRESS WHILE IN MOTION", right? (it's the blade lock for changing blades.)

Gotta love that cheap Chinese steel from Harbor Freight :D ... and actually, that saw's still going. The $19.95 sawzall died quickly, what a surprise, and I burned out one of their cheapo grinders ... but the medium-priced stuff seems okay.

Tangent off...

the only one thats not covered is the brass one that the hose slides on. the rest are all plugged, but thanks for the warning, i'll cover that if i do more grinding

good work. I like it when I see people going to the extra effort to make something nice and clean while they build it. Im not big on bling, but its just a less booty-fab way to build a rig. Sorta like when I have a factory bracket removed from my frame... first thing I do is clean up the area and prime/paint before I reinstall the bracket. It adds a lot of time to the project while you wait for it to dry and stuff but its just a better way to build a rig. Attention to detail is good.
