Started \"Tricking\" out dash tonight (NOW WITH PICS!)
I got a spare dash out of a junker pickup a guy that lives by me has, Its in really good shape, got my white face guage decals in the mail today, took teh assmebly all apart. cleaned everything, I put the white stickers on the clear lense part, I am going to paint the black backgrounds for teh guages white so they show better with the stickers, boy the little tiny rivet that hold them onto the guage itself sure were a paint to get undone. I ended up using a small square file to grind down the backs of them and popped them out. so now i gotta sandblast all teh black paint off of them and paint them white, doign that tommorow. I also painted the needles metallic blue, Figured that would be different. I am also going to find some clear blue plastic and make the turn signals and high beam indicators blue. should look pretty good when I am done. Just different enough so that someone that knows what to look for will appreciate it. well jsut though I'd post this. Anyone else done somethign similar to this?
