This problem is gradually getting worse.
The starter on my 383 will catch and start cranking like normal.
After a second or two, I'll feel a 'shudder' and then the starter will disengage and wind down. All while I'm holding the key on "start".
The length of time before it disengages changes, but it always seems to happen......
Anyone else have this happen? Any ideas on what is wrong? I'm saving for a gear-reduction unit, so I'd like to put off the replacement if I can with a quick fix....
Thanks guys,
-Ben
