starter help

i have a 454 in 85 k5,when i went to crank it the starter binds up.i'm sure its a mismatch somewhere any ideas?12'' clutch flywheel.motor is internally balanced so i used flywheel off 82 350 ck 2500. hydrawlic 85 bellhousing

try adding a spacer shim. shouldn't we be eating turkey right now.
