I was thinking about it running to the ground more than coating the dirty engine bay.

Starting after years, any tips?

It’s a dirt here but I have a drip pan. Out there now trying to figure out belt routing. I had 4 plugs loose also and the crank turned with no problem at all with a wrench

I can’t believe she actually fired up yesterday after all these years. Soaked pistons for 2 days, put some new plugs in and a bit of fuel into carbs and she fired up within a few seconds. Bit more fuel 2nd time and she ran about 5 to 10 seconds. 3rd time about same. Called it quits after that. Gonna try to fill the bowls tomorrow and see if I get any decent oil pressure when running. Was tempted to put a couple gallons in tank but decided best not to. Not out to drive it yet
