I have only been visiting here for a few days and thought I would share my project with you all...

I am starting with a 1965 Chevy 3/4 ton frame. Body is shot but 100% rust free!

(note this is the "GOOD" side!)

Now I get to looking at my yard and I have 12 parts trucks or pieces of trucks left over from 2 years of "collecting" that I need to clean up to move. I have a rust free 63 GMC cab with poor wiring missing a drivers door, I have fenders from a 1961 GMC that are fair, I can build a flat bed, I have 3 core 350 V8 engines, a couple 2wd 4 spd trannies, a 4 spd brownie (2:1 low, 1.25:1 mid, 1:1, .83:1 OD) from an IHC Dump truck, a corp 14 bolt from a 1 ton that will bolt into the 65 frame (42" wide springs c/c), and found a divorced T-case recently. Then I have started talking with a guy about trading a Dana 60 Front axle for some of my extra parts he needs...

Anyway after I move I will be starting building this from scratch. It should look better than that 4x4 semi too!

Cool, my favorite generation of Chev/GMC trucks! Keep us posted.../forums/images/icons/smile.gif
