Ok gentlemen,
So i finally got done rebuilding my 350. I connected everything and the starter just clicks. So check the battery low charge. charge it and same thing. Get it tested it is bad so I get a free because it is under warranty. Go straight home and same thing. so I re check all my ground and connections. Everything is good. have starter tested. Its good. Had a buddy say his passed the bench test and still would turn the motor over so I got a new one with lifetime warranty of course. bring is home same thing. I watched the starter as my wife tried to start the k5, and the gap looked a little big between teeth so I added some shims and the gap looks good same thing. i tried to starter the thing in neutral and park. so I don't believe the neutral safety switch bad because I wouldn't start in gear. The starter is engaging so I believe the ignition switch and everything is good. Im lost! Help please. I am getting over 12v at the starter. Just don't know where to go from here. Thank you in advance!
