Its a 87 Jimmy witha 350TBI, and when the engine is cold and I try to start it it cranks for a good 8-9 seconds and when it starts it stays running. But when the motor is warm the same thing happens only when it finally starts it will die immediatly after. I have to repeat this starting process atleast 3 times before it stays running.

I don't know how to do it specifically, I just know there is a test lead on the fuel pump relay that is supposed to tell you if the relay is working or not. Believe that can also be done through the ALDL connector.

I'm sure someone will chime in either on this post, or try starting a new one with a descriptive subject line.
