Old starter took a dump 3 months ago and bought a new one. Tried to start the blazer and nothing. I was fiddling with wires inside the cab and my cousin was doing the same under the hood and got it to start, but do not know what worked. No troubles since then, but today the same thing. I've started it several times today with no problems and now nothing. Checked wires but still nothing and battery is full charge. What else do I need to check. This the same reason I changed the starter, because it would do the same thing often and a tap on it would work. Any suggestions.

Check the fuseable links. Should be one coming off junction block on the firewall and 1 down by the starter and 1 in the alternator wiring. I had a similar problem with mine where wiggling wires would get it to start. Replaced a fuseable link and haven't had the problem since.

Quick test to see if those fusible links are fried is run a jumper wire from the battery to the firewall junction and turn the key.
