This weekend we start piecing together the "grenade" motor for Swamp Thing. A 350 out of a friend's Suburban (that used to be my motor) which started backfiring through the carb.
So, I've got a used Comp 292 cam, a pair of heads I kept off a 383, a double roller chain with 5 miles on it, some lifters I found laying around the garage, and thats about it for now. I guess we'll have to actually go buy gaskets.
We'll be happy as long as it runs for 2 days at the Moyie Springs, Idaho mud bog.
