Steel Brake Line ?

I have a question hopefully someone can answer for me. Would this 2WD. Steel Brake line be the same Size and length for a 4wd 1978 K5 Blazer?

I had a line break on me and it seems the ONLY way I can get this part is but the whole Stainless Steel Set and do not want to drop $200 on that.

Does anyone know the OD size of the line used and fitting size from factory? I do have a flaring tool and am confident I can make a new one but would rather buy what I need.

Take a look at Inline tube. I need to look at your link on my PC, dumb pop up for year and model won't go away so can't see description
 
The image looks correct, lmc may have a typo. None are listed for 4wd. Which is odd since far more 4wd were sold.
Still try Inline tube, they probably made the original lines on your Blazer.
 
I just got done looking for 4wd line from master to combination (proportioning) valve. I couldn't find anyone selling just the lines I needed.

I ended up buying a cupro-nickel brake tubing and fitting kit.


Haven't done anything with them yet, as far as I could tell some of those fittings should be correct. I need to order the mastercool flaring set before I tear the old lines off.
 
Making your own is sometimes the only answer with brake lines. I used to buy the 5-6 foot sticks of tubing with fittings already on them from the parts store and carefully bend them to replicate what I needed.
 
All in-line tube does is fold em up and put em in a box lol. So much for a nice prebent install. Might as well just make em yourself if it’s gonna look the same in the end.

I used this stuff on my vw chassis dune buggy. Nothing original so I had to custom, and bubble flairs. This nickle-copper is so nice to work with, no cussing or frustration. Flaired easily. This is how I am going in all future custom brake pipe work.
 
If you are going to do any brake line work or fab just buy the Eastwood flare tool.
So quick and easy you wont believe it.. Makes perfect flares effortlessly.

I dont know why i messed with the crappy flare tools for so long. lol
 
Looks nice not sure I'll make $250.00 worth of flairs. I have learned the pitfalls of the more common tool and have a couple tricks. Vise grips in the middle of the pipe clamp make a huge difference. Deburr and lube are a must.

I agree. I got lines from inline tube and they weren't exact. I had to try and straighten and rework them. In the future I'd rather bend them myself.
