[K85 Octane]

have 85 tilt auto column that's crap
looking to replace
doesn't need anything other then outside and inside tubes. I don't need any wiring, wheel, steering shaft, bearings, nothing. Just the tubes and maybe tilt base.

If a non tilt works for the parts you need, I have one that I can sell you cheap.

I'm not entirely sure if it would. Part of the outer tube fits inside my tilt base. This part is what broke off at some point, so the tilt base is now interfering with the shifter. I wonder if anyone else knows? Let me snap a pic.

a giant chunk is missing out of the lower half of the tube
I remember it falling out when I took everything apart, but thought it came from something else inside. It all looks like crap. Unluckily, it came from this.

Maybe you can post in the garage the question.
By the way mine is an 88 but it's a non tilt otherwise a great column with keys.
But no one seems to want it so I will let it go cheap if it serves your needs.

re freash my memery does the 85 steering column have the wiper contals on it? if so i have a spear column out of an 84 c10 u could have for parts or couplete swop out for 45 dollars shipped? pm me back plz thanks.

Yes 84 and up got the wipers on the column.
