I need an OEM steering arm for my '73 K5. I am knocking down the lift on mine from 8" to 4" so the raised steering arm I have won't work. Guessing just about everyone who lifted their truck had one of these sitting around at one point. Hoping not everyone threw them in the trash. Let me know what you got.

Thanks!

Northern California. Shouldn't be too expensive to ship though. You got one?

How high is your raised steering arm?
Most are perfect for a 4" lift.
I dropped mine to stock height so now I need to put back a stock arm, but I only have one.
I am in norcal too.
Where abouts are you?

My current arm is raised 4.5" Looking at it more closely and having assembled a flat draglink, I am thinking it may work. Not sure whether it's better to be a little too high or a lot too low. Thoughts?

I'm in the east bay, in the hills outside of walnut creek. You?

Sacramento, technically Lincoln.
I pass by you every day on my way to Morgan Hill

It's better to be exact or less.
Too high will create bump steer.
Mine I Believe is a 2.5 raised arm and it works best with a 3-4" lift.
With no lift it's giving me trouble

That's what I'm thinking too. I think I'll be a little too high with the lifted arm.

That is one he'll of a commute but both nice places.
