Im switching the steering arm to a one that is raised 4" on my 76 Blazer with Dana 44 and need to know how to get the original off? Im sure some of yall have removed em, I took the nuts off the studs and the thing is stuck solid, how do I get it off? One other problem I have had doing this is when I was taking the drag link off the stud at the end at the steering box just started spinning inside the drag link end and I cant get it to stop enough to get the nut the rest of the way off, any ideas what this problem is or a fix for it? Thanks.

i just did this a couple months ago. like everyone else said, i used a sledge hammer, a big air chizzle, heat, and lots of pb blaster. it will take a while, but about the third or fourth time you say "this thing aint movin", it will break loose :D

I was fighting with one of these until someone said to hit it down on the cast numbers(away from the mounting area) instead of near the top. This method worked when nothing else had. Have fun.:D

What is the best way to get those washers out, from looking at the new one it seems like if I can get those out then the arm should just come on off with out much problem

The best way to get the washers out is to beat the crap out of the arm until it comes loose;)
