steering arm problems

why can't i get the steering arm off my truck??
beat the hell out of it and it still won't come off
any ideas??
took off the pin and castle nut,,,smacked it around some and won't budge...
i have a 4" lift installed and this is the last piece to complete,
HELP!

Im assumeing youre talking about the steering arm on the steering box. You usually need a steering arm puller, you can rent/buy one from just about any major parts store.

no , one on tie rod end
is this the same type tool though?

Different tool, ask for a Tie Rod Separator, i bought one last week at ORiely's for about 10 bucks

nvm, thought you were talking about the on attached to the knuckle...

What are you trying to remove? The steering arm is held on by 3 nuts.

the other end with the castle nut, pin and stud

? The drag link end? A pickle fork ought to take it off no problem.
