Steering Arm Removal

wow all of your guys arms were a pita!!! i got my dad and uncle drunk and like in 20 minutes they had it off, they used a 3lb hammer. the took the nuts off and just hit it a couple of times. and i also had the same problem with the spring pad, and i took my swaybar off and when i bolted everything up, i drove around the block and settled my springs down a bit and bolted the swaybar back on. im thinkin of getting a swaybar drop bracket, dont like the angle its in!!

I had to remove the knuckle, mount it up on the vise and break about twenty drill bits chewing-out the cones, all three, right down to the last tiniest bits. Major PITA. Burb had 185K miles, wasn't really rusty but had been used on boat ramps.

If your truck has always lived in El Paso, you probably have a lot less rust!
