My steering arms are made of 1 1/2 inch cold rolled steel, the ?? is can I bend this stuff to make it fit better? /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif /forums/images/graemlins/hack.gif /forums/images/graemlins/weld.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grind.gif

Where does it need to be bent? I wouldn't want to force a bend in it as it will creat a stress riser for you to find in the future.

I need to make it kinda "Z" shaped to get the angle off the heim joints, needs to drop about 9 inches. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

Are we talking about the arm or the draglink? You are probably not going to find an extra 9" of anything in the arm. You can bend the draglink but it will change the length if it is already cut and tapped. I assume you are speaking about x-over too.
