Looking for a stock factory steering arm for my 72 Blazer. I installed a 2.5 suspension lift and the current arm is for like a 4-6"n lift. Just wondering what is available.

How is the angle of your drag link?
How does it drive?

I probably have a stock one from a square, haven't looked for a while.

I’m in the process of putting it back together. I put on a 2.5” lift and the link is several inches different on each end. I really need to go with the stock size

Does it angle up to the axle, then?

What springs do you have? If they flex a lot and you are going to use it offroad a bunch, maybe think about trying it??
:dunno:

I will try to remember and look for a spare stock one. Rattle my cage if I forget..

It’s all new springs and bushings by Skyjacker

Well, sorry to say, but they won't flex much. I had Tuff Country EZ-RIDE and they were horrible. They went to scrap.

Try it first and see how it drives, is my suggestion.

I will try to post pics tomorrow of the aggressive angle as I heard the link had to be level
Sounds good. Yes I should correct myself, if it runs uphill to the axle, it probably isn't going to perform well.

I know that a dropped pitman arm is less change than a raised steering arm. So maybe a stock one will be better. I just went to look, and I don't have one on the shelf, just a stock pitman arm. Mine are all still bolted to axles.

Level is not always best.
Ideally the angle of the link should follow the leaf, so if the springs are flat, so should the drag link be.

I agree that you shouldn't use a 4" raised arm for a 2.5" lift.
Over compensating this is much worse than under compensating it.

Somewhere along the line misinformation was spread that the drag link must be level, and with stock springs it should and will be because they are flat….should follow the arch of the leaves. Do you have a 10 bolt or 44 front? (Wasn’t sure if it’s stock or not)
