7/16" coarse thread grade 8... but how long? The short stock ones and the longer ones that go through the brace, anyone know off the top of their heads?

I searched... and even checked their site, but nothing definite, I saw 1.5" for the stock bolts which might be right, but still wondering about the brace bolts.

I have a brand new one in the box in the garage. I will measure and post when I get home.

Yep, with time and/or larger tires, the bolts for the steering box will rip through the frame. If you haven't ripped yours yet, there is a brace that triangulates the area to teh crossmember. Totally worth adding. If yours has ripped, there is a weld -in patch to repair it before you add the brace.

No help on the bolts. But the bolt in brace was one of the first mods I ever did to my truck, cheap insurance IMO.

All 3 of the bolts in the ORD kit are 3 inches

Hope that helps!

Yeah that'll work thanks Frank! I wanted to get some a little longer so I could fit a nut on the back of them, I think one of the holes on the steering box might be a little stripped.

Agree'd I think I am going to get some 3 1/4 bolts just to get some extra bite for the nut.

I wish it was the first thing I did... Now my 73 is in peices but I have a new frame! It definatley is a must to have one of those braces.
