Steering box brace

Does anyone know of a bolt-in brace for 1st gens?

I think mine came from the factory, any way it was there when I bought the Jimmy. I've heard of them out there just can't remember where. I'll be going to the junkyards soon I could look there for you.
Maybe some one has a front clip lying around you could scavenge it from? Any way I'll be watching for you, see what I can come up with.

Thanks very much.Impossible around here to get anything decent from the graveyard-way too much rust.I've looked but haven't been able to find anything aftermarket.I may end up fabbing something cool.

Strg Brce

When I get my camera up and running I can take a pic of mine, it's pretty stiff metal so you will have to heat it up to bend it. Looks straight forward after that. Later J.

same deal here in TX...near the beach so it's real humid and foggy a lot...some Gen1s came with the brace...mine looks kinda beat up so i'll probably be replacing it...what about retrofitting one from ORD for a 73+ K5s?
