I've got a 1986 Jimmy that I'm semi restoring...and I've got a crack in my frame where my steering box attaches. I've been told this is a known issue and there's a fix out there somewhere. anyone know where I could pick it up?

thanks

er....just saw the thread below ...

Yes, you will want to use the weld in repair, then bolt in their brace to help keep it from happening again.

even if it never hits more than pavment its worth the whole deal weld in to fix and strengthen your frame. then bolt in to brace it up and stiffen it up. you will feel the diffrence on the street the most with the bolt in kit.

i ran 38 swampers on my old truck and got a bolt in brace kit and it was like night and day diffrence.
