steering box brace

Yeah, because the lines for whatever it is, AC maybe, get in the way and you, well I needed to use a couple washers to the steering stabilizer bar out away from them. My bolt was just long eneough though
 
yep i have to get a longer one , about to head there now

It's odd it wasn't long enough but I see some washers stacked under the bracket that I'm not familiar with.

it says in the instruction i could pull some of the space with washers , it was just to far out for my taste to not put 2 washers there
and there nice fat washers
 
your cross-member is straighter than mine too, wonder if that has something to do with it

ah that makes sense.....I just pulled it together on mine.
 
i bet some one towed off the cross-member and bent it a bit, it was a 1 inch gap or more
 
installed prob almost a dozen of these .

each trucks frame is different as to the center single bolt gap to brake . i just leave the 2 box bolts a tad loose . start the single center and then snug down all 3 and torque them all to spec .

this reminds me I have @1000 miles on mine need to retorque
