the front end does feel different going down the road. A lot less wandering. unfortunately I still have a clunk when cranking steering wheel at very low speeds but it seems much less pronounced than it was before. The bushing in front of the leaf spring is gone, I'm think maybe it's that.

the rebuilt gearbox is a lot uglier than I expected, but no leaks. Steering wheel is harder to turn than before , doesn't really come back to Center without help. I've only driven the truck 10 miles so I'll see if it's needs to break in or something.

yep spring eye bushing shot = clunk . had it on my truck this year .

repair looks GOOD .

6 years later and this is still on my list of things to do. In fact, this might be the reason I buy a welder this winter.

I wish I would have bought one. But i don't want to practice on the Blazer frame
