I'm just thinking ahead to once I get the Blazer road worthy again,........ I know I didn't have any issues with my steering box when I was driving it before but this time I will be stepping up from 33's to 35's and was thinking I might just upgrade that area with a brace of some sort. I remember somebody making on but can't remember who?

looks like i was beet to the point.

and thay are worth every cent. ! i did a before and after road test with just the bolt in brace kit. had 38" tires on it. WOW what a diffrence.

A renewed membership to come soon too. I've decided it was about time to get my priorities in order and get the Blazer back on the road again. I'm itchin' so bad !

i can tell :doah:

everytime you type its in RED . . . . .

RED Rash, you should see a Dr. bout that.:haha:

The repair is pretty much a guaranteed mod from what I've seen when going 35x12.50's and up just too much leverage on the frame section....use the plates and the brace to the crossmember too!

kinda off topic, but still somewhat on.

that pic you posted 76.....i'm about ready to order that brace, is there a different one for the rigs with cooler lines on that side. looks like it'd be a pain to route the lines around it........hmmmm.

from what I've read I don't think so....some are saying they are a pain to put in while the truck is in one piece, especially a diesel.

its the same brace but you have to reroute the oil cooler lines
