Okay so Im putting a 6.2 in my 1979 Blazer and the doner truck is a 1982 model. Evidently my Blazer uses regular flare fittings on the steering box but the 1982 diesels fittings are shaped different and utilize an o-ring. So does anyone know if there is an adapter out there that will make this work or am I going to have to get new hoses made or buy a new steering box or what? Im sure someone has had this problem before and your solutions or ideas are greatly appreciated.

There's a little nut in the back of the power steering pump that the hose screws into. Snag the one out of your donor motor's pump and screw it in, then you can hook up the older style hose to a newer pump.

I did the opposite to hook up mine, it will work either way. Just make sure box, hose, and that one little nut all match and you're good to go.
