I have seen two different Chevy steering boxes. The only difference is the input shaft. One is larger than the other.

QUESTION: What are the years or uses(by vehicle) for the different shafts so I can order the correct rebuild kit?

I beleive the only difference is between 2WD and 4WD.
4WD has the bolt that goes sideways through the pitman arm locating it onto the shaft.
2WD has a nut at the end of the shaft to hold the pitman arm on.

Correct, but I need info on the input shaft, where the rag loint bolts to.

The 4wd sector shaft has splines on 1/4 of with a bolt on the pitman arm. The 2wd shaft has slpines all the way around and has a nut on the end of it.
