Ok so i have a 82 Blazer and i just got done installing the 4" suspension lift kit. And now the steering is a little sloppy. It was before the lift but now more so. Before I start spending $$$ on random parts what are some common things that will tighten the steering up?

did you use any type of correction like a new steering arm on the axle? sloppy how?

yes the new raiser arm was with the kit. its sloppy like i can turn the wheel 1/4 turn before she will steer in that direction. also i still have stock tires on. I can turn the wheel from side to side and the wheels will stay centered, it like i have play some place im just not sure were to start replacing. a friend said my steering box may be messed. i had the play before the lift but it wasnt as much.

You need to have someone turn the steering wheel while you look for the point at which stuff stops moving.

Well, could be draglink ends, tierod ends, ragjoint, or the box, yeah.

My experience is that the boxes lose power assist more than get sloppy, but ymmwv.

Oh and check the u-bolts on the axle for tightness!

As for slop, watch for where the movement stops when somebody turns the wheel ... does the rag joint turn on top of the box, but not the shaft it connects to? (Repalce rag joint.) Does the box move, but not the steering arm? (Box.) Does the draglink move, but not the arm? (Draglink ends) Does one wheel move, but not the other? (Tierod ends.)

That kind of thing. You should see it, if it's as bad you describe.
