steering box pouring out fluid...

cant get a pic but if this was a chevy box

then it would be the aluminum colored box on the top left of the box thats leaking, i mean pouring out, i put fluid in and drive across the driveway and its out. can it just be re sealed? Or is the box bad?
 
It has a rubber o-ring in the top of it. It is really easy to change.
Just pull of the pitman arm.
the take off the 4 bolts that hold the aluminum cover on.
Then just grab it and pull the whole sector shaft out.
The o-ring goes in a groove in the bottom of the cover.
