steering box problens

we were doing a hydo steering on a 80 blazer. its a 2 wheel steering box. after taking off the end cap, my son was missing around and turned the shaft and the balls fall out. now how do i go about putting them back in? thanks

HAHAHA, oh so sorry. Check WTO's site, otherwise maybe an old chiltons or haynes. Certainly some one here has fixed this issue.....

You now must take the whole steering box apart to repair it and it takes a special tool to do it or you can use a worm shaft from another box as the tool. The chiltons book tells you how to do it. You have to remember that there are 24 steel balls and there are 2 different sizes that have to go in staggered of one another.

Good luck brother, probably easier to buy another box.
