i recently had my frame repaired around the steering box, now my steering box leaks. its not the lines, it seems to be where the shaft enters the box. all the fluid usually leaks out in about 30 minutes. any suggestions or help?
thanks

Was the steering box installed while the repair was made? Sounds like your Sector shaft seal. Thinking someone welded while the box was mounted and ruined it from the heat.

thanks cbbr, sounds like im in the same situation you were in. i don't have alot on mechanic experience either, but im going to give it a shot. thanks!

Mine was doing that a couple of weeks ago. While trying to find the right seal, I learned I had a oddball box. Fricken sucked ass. Went to the stealership, payed them $40, got a c-clip, seal, and washer, put it all in, and the sonofabitch still leaked. Then I went and got the steering box of my parts blazer. Problem solved.
