my box is pretty worn out. where is a good place to get a new/rebuilt box?

how about a used one? I have one you could pick up, but I keep the pitman arm. I dont know the condition, it was used when I got it

NAPA has a rebuilt PS box for $196 (no core charge mentioned). Not sure about warranty length on the NAPA box.

Advance Auto Parts has a couple of different rebuilt PS boxes by Cardone for $159 (plus a $50 core charge) and they have a limited lifetime warranty.

Auto Zone has a rebuilt PS box for $156 (plus a $57 core charge, same brand rebuilder as Advance Auto). They also have two PS boxes by AGR for $372 (no core charge).

A brand new GM PS box is about $500 I think.

I've been thinking about this myself for my '85, because there's still some play there and the box is the only part of my steering that isn't new. I'll do the ORD reinforcing kit at the same time.

Alright...Brandon, if nobody claims the one you got, I want it...Where you at?

oreillys is good like that, they have some good deals on certain stuff, and so far i havent bought anything from them that was junk :D
