steering box

hey all i have a question, please forgive me i am asking about putting a chevy steering box in a dodge, my freind has a 87' short bed dodge and he wants to run ram assist and like the caps they make for the chevy steering boxes, do u guys think it could be done or should he just have his steering box tapped. any help appreciated.

The Dodge's use the saginaw box too...in fact I used the instructions from www.ramchargercentral.com to tap my chevy box. I don't see any reason that the caps made for GM's wouldn't fit the Dodge version saginaw box...
