i have a 1975 gmc and found a 1984 steering box, the 84 has oring at he hose end at he box, the 75 does not, is there and adaptor so i can use to hook up my old hoses to a newer style?

Smartest option IMO is to just take the fitting out of the back of the '84 power steering pump, and replace the one in your pump. Then you use the same hoses, and eliminate any potential leaks you might get by adding two connections with adapters.
