Steering boxes

Anybody recall off the top of their heads which years of boxes use the flare fitting and which use the "o" ring fittings?

I think the split is 79ish . don't quote me .

just checked the other vendors site

79-older / 80-up is 2 different parts .

Flare fitting went up to mid 1980 (1st design) then mid 1980 (2nd design) was O-ring fitting.

Find the casting number on the side of the box and if it has an L at the end it is the later metric O-ring box.
