Steering brace?

I plan to run no larger than 35's on my rig.Is the brace going to be a neccesity with this setup?

i have had 35s on my truck for almost 2 years, and have had no problems, yet. i plan on building a brace and putting it on, but im in no hurry as i have not had a problem with it yet.

Get the brace.

bolt in brace will stiffen up the steering a lot. you will love it and for sure notice it after the fact. not wasted money now.

if not when the frame brakes you will say and wish you had after fixing it with all the work involved


bolt in will be fine if no cracks are found now.

yeah, I definitely want to add the bolt in soon.. so damn pricey new tho, used would be a great alternative.. But I gotta tackle the weld in tommorrow first..

Was that you that posted the frame pic with holes of a box ripped out?

no not me. but i fixed one one time that was 3/4 the way out of the frame and thay drove it like that.
