Ok my steering colum has been acting up lately. At first when I put the keys in the ignition to start it, I would have to wiggle them or miss with them to get it to turn. Now when I take my keys out I have to pull up on the shifter(acts like its not in park but is) to get the keys out. Is there just a little piece broke in there or do I need to replace the hole steering colum. This is on a 85 blazer with a 700r.

i don't have an answer for you, but i'd be willing to bet you can fix it if you pull the column apart. if you take it apart, make sure to pick up a steering wheel lock plate removal tool - it'll make the project a million times less difficult.
