?I have a 85 Jimmy that i've tightened the tilt wheel on twice:mad: . My question is will a truck colum inter-change with aJimmy?

Yes. (assuming similar year of course).

Also, stop using the steering wheel to pull yourself into the truck, install a handle if you really need to. Pulling on the wheel is what makes them go loose (took me a few vehicles to figure it out, now I never have problems)

2WD, 4WD, doesn't matter.
Watch out for different year stuff though, older stuff had a slightly different t/s connector, newer stuff has wiper on the column, etc..etc...
Obviously there's manual and auto differences too...
They will all bolt up and fit though.

iirc, that wiring "break" year is 79 to 80 for the t/s connector...

next sunday my 77 manual, no tilt column replaces my 87 POS... :D
