OK guys I need help or input to solve this problem. Today I was going to fix the loose screws on the tilt column. Got the pivot pin remover tool and started to take the pins out. Drivers side was easy, the passenger side was were things turned sour. Started turning the nut and and the pin was not moving, so I sprayed some PB Blaster on it and tried again. I put a little to much force and the remover broke off in the pin. Tried everything short of a cutting torch to get the pin out. Is there another way to get the pin out or just buy another column. What year columns will work with a '84 Blazer if its my only choice.

I just looked on YouTube, West Coast Classic Cougar has a video where he uses a riv nut gun.

I'm not looking at it so this is a guess.
Can you get a bolt in it, or tap it and run a bolt into it?
You might be able to use a slide hammer.

Can you tap it out from the side you already removed the pin? You might have to drill out the plastic pivot ball on the shaft to get to the other side though. I think I have an extra ball and at least someone else will when comes time to assemble.
