Ok, so I'm driving down the road a couple weeks ago, make a turn at a light and something lets go in the column and the wheel gets a bunch of up-down-side to side movement.... I get it home and tear it down, a bunch of ball bearings come out along with chunks of the cage from the inner most bearing in the tilt neck.
I replaced the bearings and tightened up the 4 problematic bolts but still have about an inch of up-down-side to side movement in just the wheel, am I missing another bearing anywhere? Or am I better off just going to the scrap yard and replacing the column?

Rig is an 83 with tilt if anyone knows of something I missed I would appreciate the help.
