Mail Lady just got here like 5 minutes ago. Looks good, fits just right....it has one Huge drawback.....

If you lose the key, you are Thoroughly, Completely, and Jolly Well F***ed.

Is the company that made them in business still?

Most companies that make proprietary locks will sell you replacements based on the number on the key or cylinder.

No documentation in the box and the Website for American Auto Accessories does not list the lock. It shows to be under construction .....in several different languages.

I can honeslty say that these things have one of the weirdst keys I've seen in awhile. Looks like a messed up philips head screwdriver.

Naw a cut off wheel would do the job! Heck a Dremel might too. It would use a lot of blades and take for ever.

I know these things are funky and have a few drawbacks but I can honestly tell you that those drawbacks are worth it

I have two friends that have had their Grand Nationals stolen multiple times. Both of them started using these ten years ago and neither of them have had their cars stolen since. Crooks have attempted to and broken in and tried but never have made off with their cars.

Right crooks are lazy. The whole point is if your vehicle has one and the one next to it doesn't they will take the one with out. That said if they really want your vehicle they will come with a tow truck or a flat bed.

How many times do you see a two truck hook up to a car and say "I wonder if he is stealing it?"
