I decided to finally fix the loose steering column and man Am I glad that I did it now. When I pulled the parts the bearings had completely been destroyed. They literally fell out as I was disassembling the column. But alas i have no Blazer to drive since the local Chevy house didn't have the bearings in stock. Oh well. Guess I have to ride the bike.

Also anyone else have a problem getting the Pivot pins out to expose the steering knuckle?

No offense, but was dragging out all those tools and ingenuity worth saving 10 bucks:D

Not really, but at the time I didn't even know that one existed. This was a kind of fly by the seat of my pants operation. :eek1::rolleyes:

If you run into problems on reassembly, search google for a trans am site that has very detailed pics and instructions.
