I have some play in the steering column. It's only noticeable in 4wd. The steering wheel has about a 1/16th rotation of slop and it will clunk.

What in the column can get worn like that? It sounds and feels like it's in the area of the column in the cab.

P.S. This is a non-tilt column.

Hard to say not knowing... haha. I would disconnect the intermediate shaft so you’re just spinning the column. Could be the lower bearing?

I had seen people mention the lower bearing. Need to figure out how it's all put together.

I'm also thinking maybe it's the adapter for the Grant steering wheel. Otherwise, I think the shaft thru the steering column is solid otherwise.
