steering column

Question out of the blue but. I hvae a 89 Firebird at the house right now and i need a column from my 88 k-5 . Both columns look the same but im wondering if anybody has had any luck with this swap .

They won't work. Different lengths.

The parts are almost universal, as long as you are comparing tilt to tilt, etc.
